The following are words, phrases and titles in the ancient language. Feel free to use them in your posts!
Use of these words is best combined with knowledge gained from reading the ancient language information pages, where a more in-depth guide to pronunciation can be found. None of these words (including proper nouns) require the use of capital letters.
Dj is pronounced like the 'j' in 'jelly'.
basic constructions
To make any word "my [name]", add -i on the end. For example, "my sister" would be "senet-i".
To say "I am", precede the word with inek. For example, "I am a friend" would be "inek khenemes". There are no articles (the/a) in the ancient language.

Ankhu udjau senebu | Ankh-oo oo-dja-oo sen-eb-oo | A blessing, "may he live, prosper and be healthy". Usually follows the king's name, for example "Arthur nesut, ankhu udjau senebu" means "King Arthur, may he live, prosper and be healthy". |
Ankhetj udjatj senebetj | Ankh-etch oo-djatch sen-eb-etch | A blessing, "may she live, prosper and be healthy". Female form of the above blessing. |

Neferzi (pl. neferziu) | Neff-er-zee (pl. neff-er-zee-oo) | "Fairy". |

Khered (pl. kheredu) | Kher-ed (pl. kher-ed-oo) | "Boy", but can also be a generic term for "child". |
Bu-neb | Boo-neb | "Everyone". |
Hekau | Hek-ah-oo | "Magic". |
Mesha | Mesh-ah | "Army, expeditionary force". |
Ren | Ren | "Identity, name". |
Medet | Med-et | "Word". "My word" would be "medet-i". The ancient language is "medet-netjer", literally "the words of the gods". |
Wepwet | Wep-wet | "Assignment, mission, message". |
Qenebet | Ken-eb-et | "Council". |
Per-nesut | Per nes-oot | "Palace, castle", literally "the king's house". To refer to the house of any person, use "per [name]". |
Bin | Been | "Bad". |
Djiun | Djee-oon | An expletive. This word cannot be translated since it would only be censored anyway. |

Za-zi | Zah-zee | "Gentleman". This is used as a mark of respect for a male person who has standing in a community and literally means "son of a man". |

Nebet (pl. nebut) | Neb-et (pl. neb-oot) | "Lady, mistress, owner". |
Wepweti | Wep-wet-ee | "Messenger". A messenger of a specific person would be "wepweti en [name]". |
Hem-netjer (pl. hemu-netjer) | Hem netch-er (pl. hem-oo netch-er | "Priest". |
Hemet-netjer (pl. hemut-netjer) | Hem-et netch-er (pl. hem-oot netch-er | "Priestess". |
Wau | Wah-oo | "Soldier". |
Imi-sha | Ee-mee shah | Literally, "marsh dweller". This is a term for the monsters in the Macabre Marsh. |
Bak (pl. baku) | Bahk (pl. bahk-oo) | "Servant". |
Wekha (pl. wekhau) | Wekh-ah (pl. wekh-ah-oo) | "Fool". |
Nedjes | Nedj-es | "Little man". This is a mildly derogatory term. |

Nedjui | Nedj-oo-ee | A somewhat stronger offensive name for a person. This word cannot be translated as it would only be censored anyway. |

Seba'iqer | Seb-ah ee-ker | This is title/term for an original fairy with a token of respect attached and literally means "excellent star". It is polite to use this term with an original fairy you are not well acquainted with. |
