Animal Database

We are slowly building up a database of animals (real/alive today, extinct, and mythical) as an inspiration bank to make it easier to search for familiar ideas. This database is fully editable by anyone.

Submission Guidelines

• Please check that the animal you want to submit isn't already in the database! (Tip: try searching for its Latin name).
• Please check your spelling and include as many details as possible in the given fields to help other players.
• You can include anything you like in the "Notes" section, providing it isn't an essay ;)
• Please identify mythical or extinct animals under "status".
• If you have invented the animal yourself, you can classify it as a "shamanimal" under "status".

Please post new entries on updates. :) You can also edit existing entries if there is any missing/incorrect information. Anything you like can be added to the "notes" section of this database (including references to specific non-deity characters, popular culture, etc).
