The castle sits at the centre of sprawling grounds containing gardens, training arenas, barracks, the royal stables and Lake Lilith, which is fed by the River Twinge.
- Royal Court, a place for people to receive an audience with members of the royal family. Petitions can be presented to the king, connections made and events held.
- Library, the largest collection of written works in Shaman.
- Barracks, where soldiers and guards are housed and trained.
- The Silk Court, a separate wing of the castle where concubines are held.
- The Nursery, a wing of the castle where the emperor's offspring are raised.
The great moor is best known for is thriving and rather seedy town, the largest settlement on the planet.
- Laketon-on-the-moor is the largest and shadier town, home to many citizens who are not necessarily fans of the law. Murray’s rare items and curios can be found here.
- Lake Baudelaire is situated at the edge of the town with a boathouse where fairies can hire boats, canoes or kayaks.
- The Rock Dragon was a monster created by Gwythr which Tsi grounded. Now lifeless, it can be seen near the border of the territory, crouched on the earth with its wings outstretched.
- River Grace runs through the moor with several waterfalls: Cascade Falls, Hippogriff Falls and Prince Falls.
Home to two smaller settlements, this charming wood is as picturesque as it gets.
- Oliford, a little village composed of gorgeous cottages and a close-knit community.
- Hawthorn House, within Oliford is Hawthorn House, a boarding home for homeless young people aged approximately 16-18.
- Elysium Forum is located on the edge of the grove. This is a collection of holy buildings and shrines dedicated to various religions and deities. The headquarters of the old Council organisations, such as the Alliance and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, can also be found here.
The coastline of Shaman is a vibrant blue with gorgeous sandy beaches. Several islands are scattered along the coast. Ships, including pirate ships, are a common sight.
- Apeliotes Island, the pirate base. The surface is now beginning to regrow, but the pirates still mostly hang out in the labyrinth of caves riddled beneath the surface.
- Royal Docks, where law-abiding citizens can keep their boats.
- Dolphin Lagoon, a popular spot to swim with dolphins. Remnants of old pirate forts and outposts make this a good area to explore.
- Beach Café, overpriced but still popular.
These mountains contain some popular hacking territory, but are gradually becoming associated with the dark characters who live here.
- Esther’s Mansion looms on the side of the mountain. Villainness Esther-May provides fairies with whatever they want in exchange for the souls of children under the age of 16, who must then live and work with her.
- Equalist Headquarters are located underground. The Equalists are a cult of anti-magic fairies who aim to rid this world of magic once and for all.
- Falcon Point, a dormant volcano, is the highest point on Shaman. Climbing this mountain is an enormous achievement.
This is the best place to find native Shamanimals and endemic flora. Locals whisper of magic which causes the forest to reshape and shift.
- The Stone Dragon, situated on the edge of the forest, is the most popular tavern in Shaman. It is run by Olive and her family.
- The Henge is the old base of the former Prince Tristan’s resistance against the previous king, Mordred.
After the old Epitome Jungle was desertified, few ventured here. In recent years, nomadic tribes have started to pop up.
- Lost Oasis still contains some ruins of buildings originally crafted by Joel during the first war against Gwythr. This is a haven and one of the few places in the desert where water can be found.
- Sable Wadi contains some hidden tombs which are definitely too old to be from this planet originally.
